Winners of the FRAG Archaeology Quiz in December each received replica Roman gold coins. It’s possible that the coins now take pride of place on the mantlepiece – but more likely that the wrappers are off and the chocoloate consumed!
Five teams entered the quiz and sought to prove their expertise by answering questions ranging from Prutahs to Lara Croft. There was also a hands-on Roman pottery round thanks to samples loaned to FRAG by Oxford Archaeology East. Jokers were placed by way of the wonderful Marotte below.
Scores were high for all, but the Mortarmugs triumphed!
