FRAG members underwent metal detector training with Steve Critchley.
The training site was a pasture between Peterborough and Stamford, close to a number of ancient features. The emphasis was on learning techniques and on responsible use of metal detectors. Perhaps unsurprisingly finds were mainly everyday objects such as horse shoes.
