There’s an opportunity for FRAG members to join an excavation being organised by The Sawtry History Society. The dig follows field walking and geophys which suggest Iron Age and Roman settlement at the site. It’s very short notice but the excavation is this weekend and next (30 Nov – 03 Dec and 07 Dec – 10 Dec). Email Kev Redgate if you are interested – sawtry.archaeology@yahoo.co.uk
