There’s another opportunity for FRAG members to join an excavation being organised by The Sawtry History Society. The dig follows field walking and geophys which suggest Iron Age and Roman settlement at the site.
This year there are 15 days of site activity between 30th January and 8th March. Volunteers from FRAG are welcome.
Please note that this is not a FRAG organised event but is available to members through our affiliation to the JIGSAW network of Cambridgshire archaeology groups.
