DESCRIPTION:Living Conditions in the Iron Age \nThis talk will provide an overview of Britain before the Romans\, covering farming\, trade\, clothing\, and home life. \nIt will include demonstration of costume\, collection of artefacts\, and construction of housing. \nSpeaker: David Freeman \nDavid has spent the last 40 years working in archaeology. It has been a mix of experimental work\, teaching\, constructing\, and interpretation. His primary research has been in the construction of prehistoric buildings\, and in particular\, houses and living conditions.
