SUMMARY:Geophys Training Sessions
DESCRIPTION:Hands-on training in how to conduct a geophysical resistivity survey. This event is only available to FRAG members.  \nResistivity is a form of geophysical survey where electrical current is passed through the ground at regular points on a survey grid. Electrical resistance in the soil varies\, and is affected by the presence of archaeological features. The patterns of resistance in the soil are recorded\, plotted and interpreted.

SUMMARY:The Future of Flag Fen
DESCRIPTION:Flag Fen is planning a £2-3m redevelopment which could see visitor numbers soar from 10\,000 to 60\,000 per year.  As well as enhancing the presentation of the Flag Fen site itself\, the plan includes a permanent home for the 8 Bronze Age boats currently preserved there and the many exciting discoveries made at Must Farm near Whittlesey. All this hinges on a successful lottery fund application.
