DESCRIPTION:Come to the Feast: Communal Agriculture in an Iron Age Landscape at Willow Hall Farm\, Thorney \nAlbion Archaeology’s 8 years of excavations at this quarry have revealed an extensive Iron Age agricultural landscape. While the later Iron Age remains represent a fairly standard set of enclosures\, the site functioned as a communal grain store in the early Iron Age\, complete with evidence for ritual feasting activity. \nSpeaker: David Ingham FSA MCiFA\, Project Manager – Albion Archaeology \nDavid holds an MA in Classics and an MSt In Professional Archaeology from Oxford University.
